Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span> At least 301 new cases, 285 patients recovered and four deaths are the results of the last 48 hours announced Tuesday by the Angolan health authorities.<\/p>\n

According to the daily bulletin, 202 were diagnosed in Luanda, 37 in Huambo, 29 in Zaire, 11 in Benguela, 7 in Moxico, 6 in Huila, 5 in Bi\u00c3\u00a9, 3 in Lunda Sul and 1 in Lunda Norte.<\/p>\n

Among the new cases whose ages range between 6 months and 88 years, 186 are male and 115 are female.<\/p>\n

In the last 48 hours, 2,488 samples were processed by RT-PCR, with a positivity rate of 12.1 percent.<\/p>\n

According to the bulletin, 126 of those recovered reside in Huambo, 57 in Benguela, 48 in Moxico, 14 in Lunda Norte, 13 in Bi\u00c3\u00a9, 13 in Lunda Sul, 6 in Huila, 5 in Luanda and 3 in Uige.<\/p>\n

The deaths of three male citizens and one female citizen occurred in the provinces of Luanda, with three, and Benguela with one, respectively.<\/p>\n

Angola has a cumulative number of 94,275 confirmed cases, of which 7,478 are active, 1,870 have died and 84,927 have been recovered.<\/p>\n

Of the active cases, 5 are critical, 32 serious, 45 moderate, 71 light and 7 325 asymptomatic.<\/p>\n

In the treatment centres, 153 patients are hospitalised, while 118 are serving institutional quarantine.<\/p>\n
