{"id":16941,"date":"2022-09-20T12:46:39","date_gmt":"2022-09-20T12:46:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/angola\/all-news\/bodivas-net-income-reaches-72-million-kwanzas"},"modified":"2022-09-20T13:59:38","modified_gmt":"2022-09-20T13:59:38","slug":"bodivas-net-income-reaches-72-million-kwanzas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/angola\/all-news\/bodivas-net-income-reaches-72-million-kwanzas","title":{"rendered":"Bodiva&#8217;s net income reaches 72 million kwanzas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Angola. <\/strong><\/span><b>The Angolan Debt and Securities Exchange (Bodiva) ended the first half of the current year with a net result of around 72 million kwanzas, a reduction of 3.25 percent compared to the same period last year.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>According to data that the JE had access to, this reduction is essentially explained by the decrease in business volume by 17.90 percent, compared to the same period last year, which reached the figure of 1202 million kwanzas.<\/p>\n<p>Also contributing to this reduction, in addition to exogenous events, was the 17.80 percent increase in personnel costs with new hires and the 49.31 percent increase in operating costs compared to the same period last year.<\/p>\n<p>As for trading, the document underlines that Bodiva ended the semester with a total turnover corresponding to 490.3 million kwanzas, having recorded an average trading amount of 81.72 billion kwanzas.<\/p>\n<p>Its 23 members contributed to this result, most notably Banco de Fomento Angola (BFA) with 29.46 percent, Banco Angolano de Investimento (BAI) with 23.10 and Banco Millenium Atlantico (BMA) with 10.90 percent, which together represented more than 63.46 percent of the amount traded.<\/p>\n<p>Issues on the primary market reached 772.2 billion kwanzas, while on the secondary market a total of 490 billion kwanzas were traded. The secondary market represented 6.76 percent of the stock of securitized public debt.<\/p>\n<p>In June, 323 income distribution events were processed, essentially coupon payments and redemptions\/amortizations in the amount of 764 billion kwanzas, 17 percent less than the same period in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>As for the investor portal, 1,303 deals were settled, totaling 11.8 million kwanzas, 18 percent more than in the same period last year.
