Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The teams from Petro de Luanda and 1\u00ba de Agosto, qualified for the last round of access to the group stage of the League of African Champions Clubs in football, will have different fortunes in the next stage of the competition. The tricolors will decide the qualification at home, while the military define in the stronghold of others.<\/b><\/p>\n

After securing a presence in the last round of the “Champions League” last Saturday, Petro will face Cape Town City from South Africa, with the first leg match being played in Cape Town, between the 7th and 9th of Next October and the second leg, in Luanda, between the 14th and 16th of the same month.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, 1\u00ba de Agosto will have a different fate, as they start the qualifier in Luanda, between the 7th and 9th of October and decide at home for the formation of Simba SC from Tanzania, between the 14th and 16th of the same month.<\/p>\n

The national champion, Petro Atl\u00e9tico, secured the pass to the last round by beating the Black Bulls de Mo\u00e7ambique team by 5-1, with the partials of 0-3 (first leg\/Maputo) and 2-1 ( second hand\/Luanda).<\/p>\n

The team led by coach Alexandre Santos dominated the tie, even without any official game played this season, as Girabola had not yet started. For this, the excellent pre-season held in Portugal, with several friendly games that helped the team maintain desirable competitive levels.<\/p>\n

Cape Town City eliminated Congo’s Ot\u00f4ho d’Oyo, 2-0 and 0-0.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, 1\u00ba de Agosto, national runner-up, stamped the “passport” for this phase by defeating the Red Arrows team from Zambia, in the aggregate by 2-1, with the partials of 0-1 (first leg \/ Lusaka) and 1-1(second hand\/Luanda).<\/p>\n

Unlike the oil workers, the military had the most difficult task to qualify. The victory at the opponent’s home was essential for the passage to the last round, since at Est\u00e1dio 11 de Novembro, they drew 1-1.<\/p>\n

The military presented a very young team, but willing to fulfill the mission established by the technical team led by Filipe Nzanza. The inexperience of some players was filled by the more experienced ones, such as Neblu, Bob\u00f3 and Jiresse.<\/p>\n

Tanzania’s Simba eliminated Malawi’s Big Bullets, with partials of 0-2 and 2-0, with the Zambian forward Moises Phiri, 29 years old, being decisive for the team with three goals.<\/p>\n
