Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The minister of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication, M\u00e1rio Oliveira, defended this Monday, in Luanda, the creation and implementation, in the program schedule of the Public Television of Angola, of content more focused on the rescue of values. morals, ethics and citizenship.<\/b><\/p>\n

On a visit to the TPA facilities, M\u00e1rio Oliveira highlighted the importance of creating series and programs, with content, to raise awareness and rescue some values \u200b\u200bconsidered lost.<\/p>\n

“Today, the media have a very large role, which should not be limited only to informing, but must also include training and education”, he said, in addition to adding that there are many complaints about the loss of values. “The Public Television of Angola, in particular, has the obligation to play the role of educating the youth, in the most varied aspects of citizenship”, he reaffirmed.<\/p>\n

For the minister, it is equally important to adapt to new times, in the field of technological modernization, as well as the reformulation of content, in order to convey more principles about the culture and symbols of the country, as well as the responsible use of social networks. .<\/p>\n

The exhibition of content, which, in five or ten minutes, is capable of transmitting information about the use of social networks, or demonstrating the harmful power of “fake news” for society, are, for the minister, essential in the creation of new programs, with emphasis on social education.<\/p>\n

Staff training, he reiterated, must be done in a comprehensive and engaging way, to include all media professionals. “It is also important to train on network security, as a way of preventing future hacker attacks”, he highlighted, as well as drawing attention to greater certification of the trained staff.<\/p>\n

Social Security Fund<\/b><\/p>\n

The creation of a Social Security Fund, to serve all professionals in the social communication structure, is one of the goals of the Ministry of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication.<\/p>\n

M\u00e1rio Oliveira said that the creation of a Social Welfare Fund will allow all professionals enrolled in the project to help, especially in solving some social problems during the reform phase. “It’s a proposal that we hope to see materialized later this year.”<\/p>\n

As for the sector, the minister asked for more contributions and the dedication of everyone in the implementation of plans in favor of a more inclusive media.<\/p>\n

The chairman of the Board of Directors of TPA, Francisco Mendes, highlighted, during the visit, the company’s rehabilitation process and the emphasis they have given to the training of employees, for better training of staff.<\/p>\n

Francisco Mendes said that among the projects in the portfolio, the implementation of the qualifier and the payment of Social Security should be highlighted. However, he warned of the importance of a financial increase, due to the inclusion, among the staff, of TV-Palanca workers.<\/p>\n
