Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The President of the Republic, Jo\u00e3o Louren\u00e7o, guided, on Wednesday morning (5), at the Presidential Palace, as Commander-in-Chief of the Angolan Armed Forces, the second working meeting of the National Security Council this year.<\/b><\/p>\n

The first working session of this consultation body of the President of the Republic took place on 19 September this year.<\/p>\n

The National Security Council is a consultative body for the President of the Republic on matters relating to the conduct of National Security policy and strategy, as well as for the organization, functioning and discipline of the Armed Forces, the National Police and other bodies guaranteeing security. constitutional order and the Intelligence and State Security Organs.<\/p>\n

The National Security Council is, in accordance with the Constitution, chaired by the President of the Republic and is composed of the Vice-President of the Republic, the Presidents of the National Assembly, the Constitutional Court, the Supreme Court and the Attorney General of the Republic.
