In addition to this problem, in the case of Sub-Saharan Africa, there are also the most overcrowded classrooms in the world, the most overloaded teachers and the most needy education system, with 90% of secondary schools experiencing serious problems, without having how to address existing gaps. The same data show that globally, trained teachers are in the percentages from 81% to 78%.<\/p>\n<p>But in the region south of the Sahara, apart from a few exceptions, the numbers reach 65% and 51%. UNESCO fears that if the picture does not change, there will be a decline in those who want to become teachers and this could affect the UN&#8217;s objective of ensuring quality education for all. The same document also underlines that the entities ask that on World Teachers&#8217; Day their critical role in transforming students&#8217; potential be celebrated by ensuring that they have the necessary tools to take responsibility for themselves, others and the planet.
