Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The President of the Republic, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o, created the Interministerial Commission for the Identification of Constraints and Presentation of Solutions for the Massification of the Birth Registration Process and Issuance of the Identity Card, in response to the need to reinforce the enjoyment of fundamental rights by citizens national.<\/b><\/p>\n

Created under Presidential Order no 231\/22, of 28 September, the Interministerial Commission is coordinated by the Minister of State and head of the Civil House of the President of the Republic, Ada\u0303o de Almeida, with the deputy coordinator of the Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Marcy Lopes.<\/p>\n

According to the order of the Civil House of the President of the Republic sent yesterday to the press, the Commission also includes the heads of the ministries of the Interior, Foreign Affairs, Territorial Administration, Finance and Telecommunications, Information Technology and Social Communication.<\/p>\n

“Additionally, the director of the State Intelligence and Security Service and the director of the Institute of Administrative Modernization are part of the Commission”, the document reads.<\/p>\n

According to the note, the creation of the Interministerial Commission seeks to guarantee the full enjoyment of fundamental rights by national citizens, considering as basic requirements the Birth Registration and the attribution of the Identity Card, essential presuppositions for access to goods and services.<\/p>\n

“Under the terms indicated, the work of the Interministerial Commission aims to strengthen democratic inclusion, guarantee social justice and reaffirm the need for the full exercise of the right of citizenship”, underlines the order.<\/p>\n
