Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Defense Attache\u0301 of the Angolan Embassy in Ethiopia and Permanent Representation to the African Union (AU), Colonel Jose\u0301 Filomeno da Fonseca, was unanimously elected Dean of the Association of Defense Attache\u0301s Accredited in Addis Ababa.<\/b><\/p>\n

Colonel Jose\u0301 Filomeno da Fonseca considers that the election is a recognition of the role that the country plays in the pacification and stabilization of the African continent, especially in the Great Lakes region and Southern Africa, and that it constitutes “an early gift for the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) that today mark the 31st anniversary of its foundation.<\/p>\n

The ambassador to Ethiopia, Francisco da Cruz, described the election of the Angolan Defense Attache\u0301 as another victory for national diplomacy, taking place at a time when the President of the Republic, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o, is the champion for peace and reconciliation in Africa. , elected by his peers at the Extraordinary Summit on Terrorism and Unconstitutional Changes in Government, held in May this year in the capital of Equatorial Guinea, Malabo.<\/p>\n
