Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The president of the Court of Auditors, Exalgina Gambo\u0302a, defended, yesterday, the creation of an effective communication system between the superior institutions of control of accounts of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP).<\/b><\/p>\n

The proposal aims to intensify technical cooperation, exchange and specialized training between the Member States of the Organization of Higher Control Institutions of the Community of Portuguese-Speaking Countries (OISC-CPLP).<\/p>\n

It is an autonomous and independent association, created to promote the development of member institutions (Courts of Accounts), through actions of control and inspection of the use of public resources.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the opening of the Technical Meeting on Strategic Planning of the OISC-CPLP, which will take place in Luanda until Thursday (19), Exalgina Gambo\u0302a highlighted Angola’s commitment to contributing to the improvement of the organization’s strategic vision.<\/p>\n

The presiding judge of the Court of Auditors said that the improvement must be materialized with greater cohesion, reciprocal advantages and through the fulfillment of mandates.<\/p>\n

On the occasion, the magistrate defended the elaboration of comprehensive programs and actions, adequate to the reality of the organization’s member states. Gambo\u0302a referred that the action programs must include a system for monitoring the higher institutions of control of accounts, the creation of an Executive Secretariat, as well as human and financial resources.<\/p>\n

The Technical Meeting of the Organization of Higher Control Institutions of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries – OISC-CPLP aims to prepare the organization’s Strategic Plan 2023-2028. The event brings together officials from the OISC-CPLP General Secretariat and senior technicians from the delegations of seven member countries of the organization, namely Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Portugal, Sa\u0303o Tome\u0301 and Pri\u0301ncipe and Mozambique.<\/p>\n
