Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Angola will make a State intervention on the \u201cHuman Rights Situation in Africa\u201d, highlighting the new political framework and the priorities of the Executive in this matter for the period 2023-2027, at the 73rd Ordinary Session of the African Commission on Human Rights and dos Povos, taking place in Banjul, Gambia, from the 21st of today to the 9th of November.<\/b><\/p>\n

At the meeting, Angola will actively participate in all thematic panels included in the work agenda, where he will have the opportunity to present what the country has recorded in relation to women’s rights, freedom of the press and access to information, the right to the environment and others.<\/p>\n

According to a note sent yesterday, the Angolan delegation will be headed by Secretary of State for Human Rights and Citizenship, Ana Janua\u0301rio, assisted by Secretary of State for the Family and Promotion of Women, Alcina Cunha, Secretary of State for the Pre-school and Primary Education, Pacheco Francisco and the Deputy Ombudsman, Aguinaldo Cristo\u0301va\u0303o, among other members.<\/p>\n
