Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Seven national artists and broadcaster Afonso Quintas compete in the 9th edition of the African Muzic Magazine Awards and Music Festival (Afrimma), whose gala for the announcement of the winners and delivery of the trophies is scheduled for the 19th of November, in the city of Dallas, state of Texas, in the United States.<\/b><\/p>\n

They are the musicians Edma\u0301zia Mayembe, Gerilson Insrael, Edgar Domingos, Miguel Buila, the dancer Manuel Kanza, the group Wet Bad Gang, and the DJ Jeff, whose list of nominees for the trophies of the magazine on modern African music (Afrimma) was made public on Tuesday by the organizing committee.<\/p>\n

According to information available on the Afrimma page, Edma\u0301zia Mayembe competes for the trophy for “Best Female Artist in Central Africa”, Edgar Domingos and Gerilson Insrael are vying for the category of “Best Lusophone Singer”, while Miguel Buila is nominated for “Best Gospel”. Professor Manuel Kanza and Wet Bad Gang are nominated for “Best African Dancer”, and DJ Jeff for Best Dj in Africa.<\/p>\n

The festival, whose voting has been open since Tuesday and ends with the disclosure ceremony, on the afrimma.com website, is mostly attended by artists from Nigeria, Tanzania, South Africa, and Ghana, in 31 categories and five regions. of the continent and the African diaspora.<\/p>\n
