Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The deputy national director for Defense Policy, Brigadier Jose\u0301 Catumbela, defended, this Tuesday (25), greater cooperation between States, with a view to maintaining a climate of peace and harmony.<\/b><\/p>\n

Speaking at the accreditation ceremony for defense attache\u0301s from nine countries, Jose\u0301 Catumbela, said that he hopes that the accredited entities will contribute to the strengthening and relaunch of cooperation between Angola and the respective countries.<\/p>\n

At the ceremony, which took place at the Ministry of National Defense, Colonels Themba Godfrey Cebekhulu (South Africa), Mmono Kaunda Nkoane (Botswana), Pierre Hache (Canada) and Oleh Kvasiuk (Ukraine) were accredited.<\/p>\n

Lieutenant Colonels Leah Jepkemboi Yegon (Kenya), Marie-Line Tzeriikiantz (France), Bart de Cuyper (Belgium), Patrik Aronssom (Sweden) and sea captain Chiwoo Park (South Korea) were also accredited.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the press at the end of the act, the South African attache\u0301 promised to cooperate in all situations in which it is requested and to keep the focus on strengthening the cordial relations existing between the two countries.<\/p>\n

On the same occasion, Botswana’s defense attache\u0301 reaffirmed his country’s interest in strengthening exchanges in the fields of training and logistics.<\/p>\n

On the sidelines of the act, Kenya’s attache\u0301, Leah Jepkemboi Yegon, called for the deepening of relations between the two States, with a view to the well-being of the populations.<\/p>\n

France, through Marie-Line, wants cooperation between the two countries with common interests to prosper.<\/p>\n

Sweden’s attache\u0301 also wants to deepen relations, while South Korea’s seeks understandings for the two to walk together.<\/p>\n

During the ceremony, accreditation certificates and the regulation that should guide their activity in Angola were delivered to the attache\u0301s.<\/p>\n
