Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The President of the Republic, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o, addressed, this Monday (31), a message to his counterpart of the United States of America, Joe Biden, in which he thanked the words of appreciation and encouragement expressed after his re-election in the election of 24 last August.<\/b><\/p>\n

“I have the honor of acknowledging the receipt of the letter by which he congratulates me on the reappointment of the post of President of the Republic of Angola, as a result of the victory achieved by the party I lead, in the General Elections of August 24 of this year”, writes Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o .<\/p>\n

Further on, the President of the Republic takes the opportunity to express the Angolan Government’s interest in raising the levels of friendship and cooperation relations in all domains with the United States of America, in order to reap reciprocal gains that satisfy the aspirations of both people.<\/p>\n

“Please accept, Your Excellency Mr President, the expression of my highest consideration and esteem”, concludes Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o, in the message released this Monday.<\/p>\n

Tragedy in korea<\/b><\/p>\n

The President of the Republic, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o, expressed, yesterday, in Luanda, the deepest dismay at the death of more than 150 people and the injury of many others, as a result of the celebration of Halloween night, last Saturday, in Seoul, in the Republic of from Korea.<\/p>\n

In a statement distributed to Jornal de Angola, the Head of State conveyed this feeling through a message sent to Korean President Yoon Suk-Yeol, to whom he also expressed solidarity in this moment of pain and sadness on behalf of the Angolan people and the Executive.<\/p>\n
