According to a study by Centro Studi TIM, broadband contributed about USD 1.1 trillion to Africa\u2019s GDP growth in the decade ending in 2019, while future investments in international capacity and connectivity could bring further benefits to Africa\u2019s GDP per capita, estimated from 0.42% to 0.58% in just the first 2-3 years following the implementation of new infrastructure.<\/p>\n

Global service providers play an important role as they supply fast international connections with high reliability and security between the corporate and residential infrastructures and major cloud providers operating on a geographic scale, and are therefore among the players in the ongoing transformation process.<\/p>\n

In fact, Sparkle\u2019s digital services range from secure connectivity solutions \u2013 connecting, for example, a company\u2019s offices distributed in various parts of the world \u2013 to Cloud and Multicloud, to steer companies in their digitalization journey, and IoT to control their assets.<\/p>\n

A constantly evolving network, as the operator has partnered with Google and others on the construction of the Blue and Raman submarine cable system, a new intercontinental infrastructure stretching from Italy to India with branches in the Mediterranean and Red seas among the route, aimed at improving communications between Africa, Europe, the Middle East and South Asia.<\/p>\n
