Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>At least 30 technicians from the six municipal administrations of the province of Zaire are, since Tuesday (25), being trained with tools and knowledge to start the local issuance of permits for the exercise of low-risk commercial and industrial activity.<\/b><\/p>\n

The training action, lasting three days, is being guided by a team of six specialists, led by the consultant of the Secretary of State for Industry.<\/p>\n

Henriques de Assun\u00e7\u00e3o Pereira explained to Jornal de Angola, on the sidelines of the training, that the initiative is part of the process of decentralization of industrial and commercial licensing services underway in the country.<\/p>\n

“We are working on simplifying and regulating both the Integrated System for Industrial Licensing (SILAI), as well as the Integrated System for Licensing Commercial Activity (SILAC), within the scope of the deconcentration and decentralization of these public services.<\/p>\n

The decentralization of the industry segment will be partial and of the commercial segment total. Which means, he explained, that large industries continue to be licensed by central bodies and small ones by municipal administrations.
\nHenrique Pereira clarified, on the other hand, that low-risk licensing has to do with activities that do not pose risks to the health of the population, such as the sale of didactic and scientific books, unlike sellers of food and medicinal products. Therefore, he reaffirmed, these establishments must offer certain conditions and comply with a set of requirements.<\/p>\n

For his part, the director of the Provincial Office for Integrated Economic Development of Zaire, Sabino Maria da Concei\u00e7\u00e3o, highlighted the importance of training local technicians, hoping that the rules and procedures of the “Simplifica” Program can be applied, in a bold, interactive way. and communicative with the target group of this initiative.<\/p>\n
