Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Attorney General’s Office (PGR) reiterated today the continuation of the civil and criminal proceedings against Isabel dos Santos and people related to her, with the State continuing to have an interest in the recovery of assets that were illegally removed from the treasury.<\/b><\/p>\n

According to a note that Jornal de Angola had access to yesterday, the PGR clarifies that, against engineer Isabel dos Santos and people related to her, in 2019, in the 1st Section of the Civil and Administrative Room of the District of Luanda, an Arresto Provisional Measure, under No. 3303\/19-C, which was granted by the Court, having been, depending on the matters and complexity, three Declarative Actions of Condemnation, which are being processed in the 2nd Section of the Civil and Administrative Room.
\nThe Attorney General’s Office also clarifies that the Public Prosecutor’s Office requested the withdrawal of Case No. , under No. 10\/20-DNIAP.<\/p>\n

It also highlights, in a note, that the aforementioned arrest has not expired and was not lifted due to the two Declarative Conviction Actions continuing to run their legal procedures, reiterating its commitment and engagement in all actions brought on behalf of the Angolan State , as well as its commitment to the defense of the highest public interest.<\/p>\n
