Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Kubambukila, which in Portuguese means \u201cRemembrance\u201d, is the name of the project, which aims to rescue cultural values, presented on Thursday night, at the Mutu ya Kevela Magisterium, in Luanda, in allusion to National Independence Day.<\/b><\/p>\n

According to the director of the Nikesse Bumba project, Kubambukila is an initiative that started as a spontaneous ignition, born from the need to rescue cultural values \u200b\u200band the dissemination of the mother tongue, as well as the way in which people present themselves dressed.<\/p>\n

Nikesse Bumba explained that the rescue of cultural values \u200b\u200bdoes not intend to delve into sociological issues, as the purpose is to focus on cultural roots.<\/p>\n

The project, he said, is aimed at the question of the cultural memory of the Angolan people and has nothing to do with archeology, as it has no intention of excavating the past, since through cultural events they seek to keep alive the history of construction or creation. of culture in the country.<\/p>\n

According to the project’s director, the main objective of this initiative is to preserve, perpetuate and prevent cultural manifestations from being mischaracterized, awakening in each individual the motivation and interest in Angolan culture, “thus making us more sensitive and aware citizens of the importance of our roots to preserve the history of our people\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n

The “Kubambukila” project is a way of strengthening the bases, touring the capital city and, later, other provinces of the country, with a view to its internationalization, with donations of African costumes and other resources that represent the Angolan cultural roots.<\/p>\n
