Bilateral relations between Norway and Angola are solid and longstanding, with more than 40 years of diplomatic cooperation and more than 20 years of representation in Angola. Our country is one of Norway’s most important economic partners in sub-Saharan Africa. The large direct Norwegian investments in the Angolan Oil and Gas sector can only be matched by financial investments in countries such as South Africa. Although Norwegian involvement is mainly related to the Oil and Gas sector, the country is an important market for us. In this mission, AIPEX will reinforce the mission with regard to the promotion and attraction of new private investments, which contribute to the economic development of the country, presenting the potential outside the Oil & Gas sector.<\/p>\n

Do investors have attractive factors to bet on Angola?<\/b><\/p>\n

Angola, in recent years, has carried out a series of reforms in different areas, with emphasis on the Economy, which resulted in the stabilization of the main macroeconomic indicators. The liberalization of the foreign exchange market made it possible to stabilize the exchange rate and ensure the supply of currency needed to boost investments, repatriation of dividends and other foreign operations within the framework of private investment. At the migration and investment level, there were significant changes in regulatory frameworks, which resulted in the improvement of processes for obtaining visas and processing and registering investment projects.<\/p>\n
