Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The MPLA Parliamentary Group holds today and tomorrow, at the Futungo II Tourist Complex, in Luanda, the First Days, with the aim of reinforcing the approach in matters related to the function of control and inspection and in the preparation of the General State Budget (OGE) .<\/b><\/p>\n

The spokesperson for the event, Jorge Uefu, said that during the First Parliamentary Days of the MPLA, which take place under the motto “The role of the Parliamentary Group in Defense of the Political Line of the MPLA”, issues related to political and social responsibility will be discussed. , control and oversight function of the National Assembly, political communication and the importance of the media.<\/p>\n

As for political and social responsibility, the deputies will undergo basic training in terms of logistics, and will assess the legislative process and the position of the MPLA, within the party’s internal spheres.<\/p>\n

When addressing the function of control and inspection, participants will receive timely explanations on the elaboration of the General State Budget (OGE), government action, the inspection system and the legislative process.<\/p>\n

The spokesperson referred that the approach of political communication and the importance of the media will serve, by the way, for the deputies to have greater preparation in this matter, aiming to confer greater results in their public interaction and in the field of crisis management.<\/p>\n

Jorge Uefu added that one of the objectives is to train, at the beginning of the legislature, the deputies, so that they can familiarize themselves with the organization and functioning of the parliamentary group, the National Assembly and other instruments that govern the legislative exercise.<\/p>\n

He referred that effective MPLA deputies, those with a suspended mandate and those who follow on the precedence list are participating in the first parliamentary days of the V legislature.<\/p>\n

The second day of the meeting is reserved for honoring the deputies who ended their mandate in the previous legislature.<\/p>\n
