Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>UNITA manifested, this Friday (18th), in Luanda, its readiness to help the Executive to carry out the political, economic and social reforms necessary for the sustainable growth of the country and the best solutions that allow the implementation of a governance that meets the aspirations and well-being of citizens.<\/b><\/p>\n

Speaking at the opening of the second ordinary meeting of the Political Commission of UNITA, Adalberto Costa Ju\u0301nior, highlighted, among other subjects, the current situation of the country in the most varied domains, as well as the perspective of actions to overcome the next political challenges, above all, the election of 2027.<\/p>\n

“To carry out reforms, political will, sacrifice and dedication are needed. We will do everything to help those in government meet the hopes and expectations of our people”, said the UNITA leader during the meeting, at the SOVSMO Complex, in the municipality from Viana.<\/p>\n

He considered the challenge of his mandate “very big”, stressing that UNITA will do everything to make Angola more democratic, with local power and reforms that allow the growth of the economy, in favor of the well-being of citizens.<\/p>\n

Adalberto Costa Ju\u0301nior recalled that Angola will only achieve full economic and social growth with democratized institutions and policies based on the rule of law.<\/p>\n

According to the politician, experts speak of around US$11 billion accumulated in the Treasury, the difference between the price set in the OGE and the sale price, which are not visible in the budget and free of accountability by the Executive.<\/p>\n

“No amending budget was made”, indicated the politician, for whom “Angola missed a great opportunity for development with the oil pie it had at the beginning of the year 2000”, he recalled.<\/p>\n

The UNITA president defended more investment in infrastructure, goods and services that serve Angolans and guarantee greater security for future generations, the creation of jobs for young people, a greater commitment to women and a strategic program to combat poverty throughout the territory.<\/p>\n

New challenges<\/b><\/p>\n

The national secretary for Communication and Marketing of UNITA, Marcial Dachala, said yesterday, in Luanda, that the party is serene and determined to face new challenges, with emphasis on the congress in 2025 and the next General Elections in 2027.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the press, on the sidelines of the second ordinary meeting of the Political Commission of UNITA, taking place in the municipality of Viana, Luanda, the politician declared that the party is serene and will not give up the fight for the well-being of the Angolan people.<\/p>\n

The holding of the meeting of the members of the Political Commission, according to Marcial Dachala, aims, above all, to carry out a general balance of what has been done up to now and put into perspective the challenges for the future.<\/p>\n

For the best organization and progress of the work, the members of UNITA were distributed in technical and specialized commissions. The electoral campaign until the stage of the results of the General Elections of August, the methodologies to project all the steps that the party will take, in face of the future challenges, are included in the agenda of the meeting.<\/p>\n

According to UNITA’s national secretary for Communication and Marketing, municipalities are vital for the country’s development, emphasizing that “each stage of life that Angola and the world is going through will require adequate thought”.<\/p>\n

The second Ordinary Meeting of the Political Commission of UNITA was attended by more than one hundred members.<\/p>\n
