Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The President of the Republic, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o, reappointed, on Friday, Jose\u0301 Manuel Ganga Ju\u0301nior to the position of chairman of the Board of Directors of Empresa de Diamantes de Angola (ENDIAMA – EP).<\/b><\/p>\n

In the Presidential Order, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o appointed the executive directors Laureano Receado Paulo, Ana Maria Feijo\u0301 Bartolomeu, Teo\u0301filo Assunc\u0327a\u0303o Rodrigues Chifunga and Domingos Mateus dos Santos Neves Margarida.<\/p>\n

For the positions of non-executive directors, the President of the Republic appointed Santana Andre\u0301 Pitra and Ngola Kabangu.<\/p>\n

Earlier, in another Dispatch, the Holder of the Executive Power ended the term of Jose\u0301 Manuel Ganga Ju\u0301nior, as Chairman of the Board of Directors of ENDIAMA – EP, a position to which he had been appointed in November 2017. In the same Dispatch, the statesman ended the mandate of the executive directors Laureano Receado Paulo, Ana Maria Feijo\u0301 Bartolomeu, Osvaldo Jorge Campos Van-Du\u0301nem and Joaquim Filipe Lui\u0301s.<\/p>\n

The document indicates that Santana Andre\u0301 Pitra has completed his mandate, for which he had been appointed in November 2017, as non-executive director.<\/p>\n

Founded on January 15, 1981, ENDIAMA – EP is a public company dedicated to prospecting, exploring and marketing diamonds. It operates in the national territory as operator and exclusive concessionaire in the management of the value chain of the diamond subsector.<\/p>\n

Appointments at SODIAM<\/b><\/p>\n

On the same day, the President of the Republic, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o, appointed Euge\u0301nio Pereira Bravo chairman of the Board of Directors of the Diamond Trading Company SODIAM, EP<\/p>\n

According to the Presidential Order, Fernando Teixeira da Fonseca Amaral and Jose\u0301 das Neves Gonc\u0327alves Silva were also appointed as directors of the Board of Directors of SODIAM.<\/p>\n

According to the document, President Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o delegated powers to the Minister of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas, to confer ownership on the aforementioned entities. In another Dispatch, the Head of State ended the mandates of Euge\u0301nio Pereira Bravo, Fernando Teixeira da Fonseca Amaral and Jose\u0301 das Neves Gonc\u0327alves Silva, respectively chairman of the Board of Directors and directors of the company.<\/p>\n

The Angola National Diamond Trade Company (SODIAM \u2013 EP) is a state-owned company responsible for controlling and supervising the purchase, sale and export\/import of diamonds in Angola.<\/p>\n
