Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Minister of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication launched, yesterday, the challenge to communication professionals, to participate, en masse, in the next edition of the National Journalism Prize.<\/b><\/p>\n

Ma\u0301rio Oliveira highlighted, during the award ceremony for the winners of this 2022 edition, in the categories of Press, Radio, Television and Photojournalism, that the National Journalism Award marks its 15th anniversary this year and the ceremony honored the month of Independence and the centenary of the first President of Angola, Anto\u0301nio Agostinho Neto.<\/p>\n

During the act, the minister praised the size of the prize this year for having included participants from 17 provinces, in a sign of the class’s acceptance of the competition. “We are satisfied with the participation, but we must not settle down, because that number can grow more, for the good of the competition and the promotion of quality. We expect a massive participation in the next edition, that’s why I launch a challenge to all journalists”, appealed.<\/p>\n

The jury, he said, based their evaluation on aspects such as the content of the materials, originality, quality and creativity. The minister also reiterated the Executive’s support for similar initiatives and incentives for media professionals.<\/p>\n

This year, the winner of the Press category was journalist Victo\u0301ria Maviluka, from Novo Jornal, with the report “All for Mangais, no matter the differences”, on a field day by the President of the Republic for the environment.<\/p>\n

The journalist thanked the award and highlighted the importance of embracing the causes of the environment. “Young people should go after their dreams, taking advantage of opportunities and exploring their talent more”.<\/p>\n

In the Radio category, journalist Dito Tavares, from Ra\u0301dio Malanje, won with the piece “Reconstruc\u0327a\u0303o da Estrada Nacional 330”.<\/p>\n

In the Television category, journalist Isidro Sanhanga, from TPA, was honored with the article entitled “Angola Cape Verde united by language, blood and culture”.<\/p>\n

In the Photojournalism category, the laureate was journalist Anto\u0301nio Soares, from Jornal de Angola, stationed in the province of Cabinda, who thanked the support received from his family and colleagues.<\/p>\n

The runner-up in the Press category was journalist Teresa Fukiady, from Novo Jornal, while the third was Matias Adriano, from Jornal dos Esportes.<\/p>\n

In the Radio category, the runner-up was Aristides Kito, from Ra\u0301dio Cuando-Cubango, and the third place was Etelvino Domingos, from Ra\u0301dio Cuanza-Norte.<\/p>\n

For the television category, the runner-up is the journalist Walter Marcelino, from TPA, placed in Cunene, and the third Carlos Capitango, from TV Zimbo, in Luanda.<\/p>\n

In the Photojournalism category, Pedro Parente, from the ANGOP agency, was in second place, and third was Ce\u0301sar Magalha\u0303es, from the newspaper Expansa\u0303o.<\/p>\n
