Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Te\u0301te Anto\u0301nio, was the guest of honor at the celebrations of the 51st National Day of the United Arab Emirates, celebrated on Saturday in Luanda.<\/b><\/p>\n

On the occasion, the host ambassador, Khalid Ali Alhosani, spoke of the importance of the date for the Arab people, according to a note sent.<\/p>\n

Annually, the United Arab Emirates celebrates, on December 2, the National Day, a date that marks the formal nationalization of the country and the beginning of the federal unification of the territories.<\/p>\n

The United Arab Emirates has the sixth largest oil reserves in the world and has one of the most developed economies in the Middle East.<\/p>\n

The country currently has the thirty-sixth largest economy at market exchange rates in the world, and is one of the richest countries in the world by Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita, with a nominal GDP per capita of $54,607, from agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), as stated in the document.<\/p>\n

Angola and the United Arab Emirates enjoy good relations of friendship and cooperation.<\/p>\n

The two States recently signed an agreement for the reciprocal protection of investments, which is the starting point for the start of investments in that country, advances the source.<\/p>\n
