Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The provincial governor of Malanje, Marcos Nhunga, considered yesterday, Wednesday, in this city, that the role that the Church plays in the moralization and development of society, through the gospel and other acts, is relevant.<\/b><\/p>\n

Without going into detail, the official highlighted that the Church’s partnership with the Angolan State, as a permanent way to solve many social problems, faced with the responsibility of building healthy communities together.<\/p>\n

Marcos Nhunga made this statement at the end of a courtesy meeting with the archbishop of the Archdiocese of Malanje, Dom Luzizila Kiala, which aimed to reinforce institutional ties between the government and the Catholic Church in the province.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe came to ask for blessings and express our willingness to continue working together for the common good of the province, being ever closer and coordinating actions aimed at the development of Malanje\u201d, he stressed.<\/p>\n

In turn, Archbishop Dom Luzizila Kiala considered the governor’s visit to the Archdiocese as a noble gesture and recognition of the Church’s actions in the transformation of man, in addition to being the first official meeting between them, since their recent appointments to the respective positions.<\/p>\n

He reiterated the continuous collaboration and partnership with the provincial government, in view of the governance programs.<\/p>\n

As part of the interaction with religious institutions in the province, Marcos Nhunga already held meetings of the kind with the highest entities of the United Methodist Churches of the Annual Conference of Eastern Angola and Seventh-day Adventists.<\/p>\n
