Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The ambassador of Cape Verde, in Angola, Jorge Figueiredo, this Sunday, in the city of Ui\u0301ge, encouraged Angolan youth, especially entrepreneurs, university students, to share ideas and constructive experiences with other SADC communities, to raise the levels of socio-economic development and the improvement of awareness of associativism.<\/b><\/p>\n

The ambassador’s agenda aimed to strengthen relations with the<\/p>\n

Speaking at a meeting promoted by the International Youth Forum with the Embassies, he clarified that it is not possible to achieve harmonious development of a province, a country or Africa, in general, if the youth and other members of society walk in isolation.<\/p>\n

“Hiding our thoughts and walking alone will mean nothing. We can only achieve the objectives for harmonious economic and social progress, especially in Angola and Cape Verde, if we all share ideas, experiences and paths to progress”, he said, adding that the Angolan youth are called to join with other countries, especially SADC, by sharing initiatives to build a different and better world.<\/p>\n

Jorge Figueiredo praised the International Youth Forum with Embassies (FIJE), by promoting meetings with open dialogue between young people from different latitudes and the exchange of experiences, reflecting on Africa yesterday, today and tomorrow, as well as what youth can and should do for constructive awareness improvement.<\/p>\n

The president of the International Youth Forum with Embassies, accredited in Angola, Clinton Matias, stressed that this initiative is intended to boost the local economy, through some investors who may come to the country through the various embassies. Therefore, he stressed, the forum is empowering entrepreneurial youth, the business and university class in experiences, ideas and strategies for the development of the region.<\/p>\n

“This forum aims to facilitate the entrepreneurial, university and business class to have access and partnerships with businessmen from other countries, accredited in Angola, the mechanisms to export their products from Angola outside the country, as well as to have access to embassies to initiate contacts that aim development and social welfare\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n

The political advisor to the governor of Ui\u0301ge, Miguel Kilumbo, who opened the meeting, considered it an opportunity to mark new steps in economic and social development, as well as in building a broad scientific awareness.<\/p>\n

“We commend the holding of this meeting, since here the youth came out more reinforced in ideas and experiences for development, as well as the mechanisms aimed at strengthening ties between different local and foreign social organizations”, he said.<\/p>\n

Miguel Kilumbo stressed that the motto chosen for the meeting “Africa united in one thought” makes one realize the need for everyone to be united and driven by a single objective, which is the development of communities: “Therefore, it is indispensable for young people to embrace opportunities and the constant improvement of experiences\u201d.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, which was attended by hundreds of young people, including university students and professors, businessmen and civil society, various topics were discussed, with emphasis on \u201ceconomic diplomacy and the free trade zone in Africa\u201d, \u201chow to develop the local business community\u201d , “export strategies of the local business community\u201d, and “how to be a successful entrepreneur at the local level\u201d.<\/p>\n

The agenda of the ambassador of Cape Verde, in Angola, to the province of Ui\u0301ge, aimed, among other objectives, at strengthening relations with the academic class, laying out paths to facilitate the exchange of experience between Cape Verdean and Angolan university students.<\/p>\n
