Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>A total of 24 municipalities, against the current six, could be created in Bengo province, under the proposed Law on the New Political-Administrative Division.<\/b><\/p>\n

According to the Diploma Project, the addition of municipalities originates from 23 communes that could be raised to the category of municipalities.<\/p>\n

This information, is expressed in the final communique\u0301 of the extraordinary session of the Provincial Council for Consultation of Communities led by the governor of the province, Maria Anto\u0301nia Nelumba, whose objective was to finalize the discussion on the proposed law of the new Political-Administrative Division .<\/p>\n

The participants approved the proposal with some changes in the nomenclature of certain municipalities.<\/p>\n

In this proposal, the main novelty lies with the locality of Panguila, which due to its geographic configuration and population density will also be elevated to a municipality.<\/p>\n

Thus, the province of Bengo will be able to count on the municipalities of Caxito, Quibaxi, Muxaluando, Ambriz, Pango Aluque\u0301m, Barra do Dande, Cancassala, Piri, Quicunzo, Cazuangongo, Quixico, Nambuangongo, Cage Mazumbo, Zala, Bela Vista, Mabubas , Quicabo, U\u0301cua, Paredes, Coxe, Tabi and Panguila.<\/p>\n

According to the participants, this division could bring more development, employment, services close to the populations and infrastructures to the region.<\/p>\n

The Provincial Council for Community Consultation is made up of members of the Provincial Government, municipal and communal administrators and representatives of various sectors of civil society.<\/p>\n

Road accident prevention<\/b><\/p>\n

The provincial governor of Bengo, Maria Anto\u0301nia Nelumba, called, Friday, in Caxito, the attention of the National Police to reinforce preventive measures against road accidents, in the festive season, a time when there is a tendency to increase the number of cases.<\/p>\n

The minister who was speaking during the general graduation ceremony of the corporation, underlined that Bengo is a transit route to other provinces such as Luanda, Ui\u0301ge and Zaire, so the National Police must be prepared to carry out its work with dignity at that time of year. year.<\/p>\n

Maria Anto\u0301nia Nelumba expressed her satisfaction with the means presented by the National Police and reiterated the availability of the Provincial Government to support whatever is necessary.<\/p>\n

“After seeing the exhibition, I got the notion that what the Government spends on the Defense and Security bodies is not as much money as they say, because the means are expensive, from the uniform to the means it has to exercise its duties with dignity. their work,\u201d he stressed.<\/p>\n

The provincial commander of the National Police in Bengo, Delfim Kalulu Ina\u0301cio, reaffirmed the commitment of the staff of the different bodies of the Ministry of the Interior in ensuring the festive season in Bengo province.<\/p>\n

He referred that more than three thousand staff were mobilized determined to make the festive season take place in an environment of peace and tranquility.<\/p>\n

Despite the difficulties, he said, the National Police have known how to walk in accordance with the rules, expressing the openness of the corporation to criticism and complaints about the bad behavior of the staff.<\/p>\n
