Fourteen million and 399 thousand citizens were registered. Of that number, 22 thousand and 560 Angolans residing abroad had the possibility to vote, for the first time. outside Angola.<\/p>\n<p>The participation of Angolans in the diaspora took place in 25 cities in 12 countries in Africa, Europe and America. UNITA followed with 43.95 (90 deputies), PRS 1.14 percent (2 deputies), FNLA 1.06 percent (2 deputies), PHA 1.02 percent (2 deputies).<\/p>\n<p>With no deputy left, CASA-CE I0.76 percent), APN (0.48 percent) and P-JANGO (0.42 percent).<\/p>\n<p><b>Investiture of the re-elected President<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The investiture ceremony of the re-elected President, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o, took place on multilateral partnership, President Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o participated, from 13 to 15 December, in the United States-Africa Summit, which brought together several African leaders. in new horizons in cooperation between the US and the African continent, in various domains.<\/p>\n<p>The summit ended with a high-level meeting, which brought together President Joe Biden and his African counterparts, including Head of State Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting was the culmination of the US-Africa Summit, which focused, among others, on shared values \u200b\u200bto promote a new economic engagement of the United States in Africa and reinforce its commitment on the continent.<\/p>\n<p>It is about commitment to democracy and human rights, mitigating the impact of Covid-19 and future pandemics, as well as strengthening regional and global health.<\/p>\n<p>In the context of economic diplomacy, the President of the Republic, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o, traveled to the Norwegian capital, Oslo, in November, to strengthen economic relations with the European country.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"450\" class=\"alignnone King Harald V and with the Prime Minister, Jonas Gahr Store.<\/p>\n<p><b>Diplomacy performance<\/b><\/p>\n<p>As for the performance of Angolan diplomacy, during 2022, emphasis fell on the pacification strategy in the Great Lakes Region, with particular focus on the mediation of political and military tension in the East of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), bordering Rwanda.<\/p>\n<p>The strategy culminated in the announcement of the end of hostilities and armed attacks by the M23 group against the Armed Forces of the DRC and the United Nations Mission (Monuusco).<\/p>\n<p>Among the great milestones of Angolan diplomacy, in the year about to end, is the holding, in Luanda, of the 10th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Organization of Caribbean and Pacific African of Peace\u201d, awarded by the African Union (AU).<\/p>\n<p>The distinction was awarded for his commitment and dedication to conflict resolution in Africa, especially in the Great Lakes Region and the of the celebrations of the 47th anniversary of National Independence, takes into account that this commemorative act is reflected in the established social order, without excluding citizens deprived
