Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The President of the Republic, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o, addressed, this Monday, with his counterpart from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the strengthening of bilateral cooperation.<\/b><\/p>\n

The information was disclosed today on the page of the Presidency of the Republic on the social network Facebook, noting that the two Statesmen maintained the dialogue on the phone.<\/p>\n

Both states have a reciprocal investment protection agreement between them, which is the starting point for UAE investments in Angola and vice versa.<\/p>\n

The Governments of Angola and the UAE have ratified the Double Taxation and Tax Evasion Convention, which entered into force for both countries in March 2020.<\/p>\n

The Convention constitutes an essential tool, available to the tax authorities of the two countries, which, in this way, are able to cross-reference information regarding amounts and tax accounting framework declared in one country and the other.<\/p>\n
