Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The provincial governor of Luanda, Manuel Homem, announced this Tuesday the construction of more schools and municipal hospitals, centers and medical posts in 2023, within the scope of the recently approved Integrated Intervention Plan in the Province.<\/b><\/p>\n

Manuel Homem made this announcement at the year-end greeting ceremony, where he highlighted the construction of several structural projects for next year.<\/p>\n

The governor stated that the objective is to reduce the number of children outside the education system and improve access to health services by the inhabitants.<\/p>\n

Projects for next year also include the continuation of the reconstruction of secondary and tertiary roads, improvement of public lighting and basic sanitation.<\/p>\n

As for sales on pedestrian crossings and stops, he said that a strategy was devised that involves raising awareness and placing sellers in areas with greater comfort.<\/p>\n

According to the governor, despite the adversities and the many challenges facing the capital, \u201cit is possible to win, as there are conditions for achieving the proposed objectives\u201d.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, he reiterated the commitment to maintain dialogue with all the fringes of society, to better understand the province’s needs and find joint solutions.<\/p>\n

The ceremony was witnessed by religious leaders, heads of the different branches of the National Police and the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA), artists and civil society officials.<\/p>\n
