Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The use of infrastructures, together with maintenance and the consequent responsible management, contribute to the development of sport in the region, considered, this Tuesday, in Lubango, Hui\u0301la province, the minister of Youth and Sports, Palmira Barbosa .<\/b><\/p>\n

The holder of the portfolio highlighted, in the case of Hui\u0301la, the Tundavala Stadium which, despite its geographic location, the structure is well preserved, just missing “aligning some edges”, and the Multipurpose Pavilion of Nossa Senhora do Monte which needs to improve some equipment to continue hosting national games and beyond.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the press, as part of a two-day working visit to Hui\u0301la province, he considered that the region is well served in terms of sports equipment, which makes it possible to leverage sports from the training levels.<\/p>\n

The minister referred that sports associations should continue to use these equipments so that they do not close.<\/p>\n

Questioned about the sector’s challenges this year, the official made it known that the ministry’s focus is on carrying out social projects for youth throughout the country.<\/p>\n

One of the priorities involves assessing the investments made in the country’s different stadiums, so that they can be recovered with greater urgency to host national and international matches.<\/p>\n

He also pointed out investments in the technical and professional training of young people in various areas of knowledge, including in the field of entrepreneurship so that everyone can start their own business and insert more young people in the job market.<\/p>\n

Despite not advancing the start of the respective social projects, he underlined that everything is being well outlined for their implementation.<\/p>\n
