Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>he Minister of Culture and Tourism, Filipe Zau, pointed out, this Sunday, to the need to promote and stimulate learning for the conservation and validation of the historical, cultural and artistic collection.<\/b><\/p>\n

In a message within the scope of National Culture, Filipe Zau advances that, the appropriation of knowledge, it is also necessary to associate the most appropriate strategies for the dissemination, at an international level, of initiatives aimed at a greater promotion of Angolan culture, fundamentally, with different communities in the diaspora and, in addition, as a relevant support to the promotion of domestic and foreign tourism.<\/p>\n

According to the minister, holding concerts, performances and exhibitions make it possible to assess the enormous potential of cultural industries in favor of economic diversification and the full exercise of national and planetary citizenship.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor this reason, we cannot fail to recognize and pay homage to the effort of all those who, despite the difficulties experienced, decide to embark on this work activity, which is still socially undervalued\u201d, reads the minister’s message.<\/p>\n

Filipe Zau advances that cooperation between the State and Civil Society, in a more dialogic and concerted way, will make it possible to raise the low sense of self-esteem of \u201cculture workers\u201d, working towards a consistent cultural agenda, which can contribute to greater employability and, consequently, to better social support.<\/p>\n

National Culture Day was established in 1979, in honor of the speech on national culture by the first President of Angola, Anto\u0301nio Agostinho Neto, on the occasion of the inauguration of the governing bodies of the Union of Angolan Writers (UEA).<\/p>\n
