Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Forty thousand students from the 6th, 9th and 12th grades will be submitted, in the current academic year (2022\/2023), to the Generalized National Examination of the Ministry of Education (MED), to assess compliance with the recommended objectives, announced this Monday fair, the portfolio holder, Lui\u0301sa Grilo. <\/b><\/p>\n

The minister made this announcement at the end of a meeting with her Portuguese counterpart, Joa\u0303o Costa, which served to analyze the degree of compliance with the decisions of the Angola-Portugal Bilateral Commission in the Education sector.<\/p>\n

Without advancing the concrete date for the exams, Lui\u0301sa Grilo made it known that students in the end of cycle classes will be evaluated in the subjects of Portuguese Language, Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Physics.<\/p>\n

According to Lui\u0301sa Grilo, as it is a large-scale exam, appropriate technological instruments are being prepared for a quick and good classification of the tests, otherwise the process will be slow.<\/p>\n

\u201cA large-scale exam cannot be manually corrected by teachers, so it is essential that the tests are corrected with adequate technological means for a good classification\u201d, he reinforced.<\/p>\n

To this end, the MED plans to rely on the experience of Portuguese specialists, especially in the organization of logistics, which, according to the minister, is not an easy task.<\/p>\n

He added that in the near future, the national inspectors will interact and exchange experience with Portuguese inspectors to capture inspection practices in both countries, to reinforce the competences of national inspectors and train them in ways to respond to the country’s challenges, bearing in mind that they play a role preponderant in the promotion of quality.<\/p>\n

Symposium<\/b><\/p>\n

Lui\u0301sa Grilo made it known that a symposium will be held in the next few days where, in addition to the National Examination, the National Reading Plan will emerge, supported by the experience of Portugal.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat interests us most in this cooperation is the Saber Mais Project, which is an in-service training project, in which teachers who train trainers will work in the Magiste\u0301rio schools in Bie\u0301 and Luanda\u201d, he explained.<\/p>\n

In turn, the Minister of Education of Portugal, Joa\u0303o Costa, was satisfied with the results obtained, with the introduction of evaluation of the external evaluation system, which is an instrument for collecting data for accurate decisions.<\/p>\n

As for the \u201cProjecto Saber Mais\u201d, centered on teacher training, he referred that it has been a very successful cooperation in which learning in recovery is always reciprocal and in the Pilot Exam it was possible in good time to guarantee the quality of the process.<\/p>\n
