Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Around four thousand economic operators, operating in the parallel markets of the municipality of Cazengo, province of Cuanza-Norte, can formalize, until June, their adhesion to the Program for the Reconversion of the Informal Economy (PREI), officially launched, Thursday, at the Catome de Cima Market, on the outskirts of Ndalatando.<\/b><\/p>\n

According to the Secretary of State for Planning, Milton dos Reis, with the formalization, economic agents have access to the world of Social Security, to training, whether from INAPEM (National Institute for Support to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises), or from INEFOP (National Institute for Employment and Vocational Training), as well as easy access to microcredit.<\/p>\n

The registration tent is now available at the Mercado do Catome de Cima, for all economic operators identified there to be legalized, including those who practice liberal professions (bricklayers, plumbers, tilers, electricians and refrigeration technicians). “The owners of taxis and motorcycle taxis can also formalize the activity, constituting a micro or small company”, he said.<\/p>\n

Since the beginning of the PREI, in November last year, 60,000 economic operators have already been formalized at national level, in an initiative of the Executive with the budget support of the European Union and with the technical assistance of the UNDP (United Nations Development Programme). .<\/p>\n

Milton dos Reis said that 300 operators had already been served with microcredit, in the different markets of the country, with amounts between 50,000 and 7 million kwanzas.<\/p>\n
