Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The deputy governor of Zaire for the Political, Social and Economic sector, Afonso Nzolameso, said this Friday in Mbanza Kongo that training actions for public managers on the new module of the Citizen’s Portal aim to improve the quality of services provided to the population.<\/b><\/p>\n

According to the official, who was speaking at the closing act of a training course on the subject, carrying out this training is part of the process of strengthening the administrative and financial decentralization under way in the country, within the framework of the transfer of powers from the bodies centers of State administration for Provincial Governments and Municipal Administrations.<\/p>\n

He added that the Portal do Muni\u0301cipe, launched in 2021, on the initiative of the President of the Republic, presents itself as a technological solution that has contributed to the maximum reduction of bureaucracy in public administration, insofar as companies and citizens can now obtain a set of documents that previously took months to deal with.<\/p>\n

In addition to the speed in obtaining information and documents, the vice-governor also said, the Portal do Muni\u0301cipe has also contributed to improving revenue collection, as it has ended access to physical money by municipal administrations.<\/p>\n

He said he believes that with this training, public managers and other technicians from the six municipalities of the province are better qualified to provide a more efficient public service.<\/p>\n

60 public managers and other technicians from the Municipal Administrations of Mbanza Kongo, Soyo, Tomboco, No\u0301qui, Nzeto and Cuimba participated in the aforementioned training, which lasted 14 days.<\/p>\n
