Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Oil tax revenue stood at 9.10 billion kwanzas until December 2022, an increase of 3.05 billion compared to 2021.<\/b><\/p>\n

With these consolidated numbers, revenues exceed the 6.12 billion kwanzas that were foreseen in the General State Budget (OGE) 2022.<\/p>\n

In 2021, oil revenue stood at 3.05 billion kwanzas, with exports of 412.9 million barrels at a price of USD 66.66.<\/p>\n

According to consolidated data published by the Special Taxation Directorate (DTE), attached to the Ministry of Finance, 417.3 million barrels were exported by December, at an average price of USD 100.65 .<\/p>\n

The rise in the price of a barrel of oil on the international market had a positive influence on the coffers of the Angolan State.<\/p>\n

Of the total collected, the revenue of the National Agency of Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels (ANPG), the National Concessionaire, was 4.6 billion kwanzas, based on the value declared by it, after deducting 5%.<\/p>\n

The revenue declared by the oil companies was 3.4 billion kwanzas in oil income tax (IRP), 310.7 billion kwanzas in oil production tax (IPP) and 299.6 billion kwanzas in tax oil trading system (ITP).<\/p>\n

Block 17, which is operated by TotalEnergies, led production levels with 141.02 million barrels of crude.<\/p>\n

Among the major producers, Block 17 was followed by Block 32, also operated by TotalEnergies, with 56.13 million barrels, Block 15 (ExxnMobil), with 51.4 million and Block 0 A Cabinda, with 34 .9 million barrels.<\/p>\n

The country’s oil production remained at 1.1 million barrels of oil per day, below the quota of 1.450 million authorized by the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries.<\/p>\n

For the OGE 2023, the forecast is being made with the reference of USD 75, the price of a barrel of oil.<\/p>\n
