Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The prolific gross revenue reached 39.94 billion US dollars, in 2022, and there is a growth of around 43.77%, compared to the same period of the previous year.<\/b><\/p>\n

The still preliminary data presented this Tuesday by the Secretary of State for Petroleum, Jose\u0301 Barroso, in the period under review, 391,917 million barrels of crude oil were exported, sold at an average price of US$101,916.<\/p>\n

Despite the volume of oil exported in 2022, there was a decrease of 0.54%, compared to 2021, but on the other hand, the value resulting from said export, represented an increase of 43.77%.<\/p>\n

In 2021, gross oil revenue stood at US$27.2 billion, resulting from the export of 394.22 million barrels of crude oil.<\/p>\n

According to forecasts made in November 2022 by the Angolan specialist in oil and gas, Patri\u0301cio Wanderley Quingongo, Angola will have a slice of US$15 billion from the total gross revenue collected, through exports by operators and plus the 290,000 barrels of oil per day (KBPD) to which the country is entitled.<\/p>\n

The remaining amount is exported through the provision of services and the payment of investments made by multinationals, with emphasis on TotalEnergies, Esso, BP, Chevron and SSI.<\/p>\n

The main destinations for crude oil exports from Angola were China and India, with 53.64% and 9.54% respectively.<\/p>\n

In the field of liquefied natural gas (LNG), botane, propane and condensate exports, in 2022, there were more than 4.27 million metric tons (MT), valued at US$6.47 billion.<\/p>\n

In general, LNG, Botane and propane were mostly exported to countries in Europe and Asia, according to the Secretary of State, Jose\u0301 Barroso.<\/p>\n

In addition to preliminary data for 2022, the Secretary of State for Petroleum also presented production results for the fourth quarter of 2022.<\/p>\n

During the last quarter of 2022, Angola exported 89.32 million barrels, valued at an average price of USD 87.26, which corresponds to a gross value of USD 7.79 billion.<\/p>\n

Exports of LNG, Botane, propane and condensate, carried out in the fourth quarter of 2022, totaled around 1.07 million metric tons, valued at approximately USD 1.49 billion.<\/p>\n

Prices were influenced by additional cuts, promoted by the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries and allies (OPEC+), to balance crude oil production, by the expectation of reduced supply in view of the measures of the G7, to limit oil by the supply of Russia, among other factors such as the cases of Covid-19 in China.<\/p>\n
