The intention is that the informality rate can assume sustainable levels of 1 digit”, he reinforced.

PREI is an initiative of the Government of Angola carried out by a multi-sectoral commission coordinated by the Ministry of Economy and Planning, with budgetary support from the European Union (EU) and technical assistance from the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). ).

The Informal Economy Reconversion Program plans to rescue 65% of the informal economy’s wasted income, estimated at US$40 billion.

The process of formalizing the informal economy brings together multisectoral services, namely the National Directorate for Identification, Registration and Notary Services, Municipal Administration, General Tax Administration (AGT), Single Company Guiché (GUE) and the National Institute for Employment and Professional Training (INEFOP ).

It is also part of the National Institute of Support for Micro, Small and Medium-sized Companies (INAPEM), the National Institute of Social Security (INSS) and micro-credit societies.

For More News And Analysis About Angola Follow Africa-Press

Africa-Press – Angola.
