Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The National Assembly (AN) approved, this Friday, unanimously, the Draft Resolution of the new composition of the Board of its Bodies for the V Legislature.<\/b><\/p>\n

The Draft Resolution was approved with 193 votes in favour, none against and no abstentions, during the 3rd Ordinary Plenary Meeting referring to the 1st Legislative Session of the V Legislature, chaired by the president of this body, Carolina Cerqueira.<\/p>\n

Vice-presidents of the Board of AN<\/p>\n

The plenary elected the deputies Ame\u0301rico Cunonoca (MPLA), Arleth Liona Chimbinda (UNITA), Rau\u0301l Lima (MPLA) and Xavier Jaime Manuel (UNITA) for the positions of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th vice-presidents of the National Assembly, respectively.<\/p>\n

Board Secretaries of AN<\/p>\n

Deputies Manuel Lopes Moniz Dembo (MPLA), Ame\u0301lia Judith Ernesto (UNITA), Rosa Branca da Cunha Cardoso Albino (MPLA) and Ernesto da Costa Cassongo (UNITA) were also elected for the positions of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th secretaries of Board of the National Assembly.<\/p>\n

The members of the Board of the National Assembly are elected by the Plenary of the National Assembly on the proposal of the political parties, obeying the principle of proportional representation, as provided for in number 01 of article 51 of the Regulations of the National Assembly.<\/p>\n
