Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>One hundred and 75 families affected by the rains in the municipality of Viana, in Luanda, will benefit, in the coming days, from various essential goods, donated by Cidade da China.<\/b><\/p>\n

Included in the goods delivered, Friday, the municipal administration of Viana, bags of rice, sugar, salt, beans, corn meal, boxes of pasta, oil, milk, used clothes and shoes, buckets, basins and hygiene products.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the press, the chairman of the Board of Directors of Cidade da China, Jack Huang, made it known that this is the second donation this year, referring to the intention to continue working with the administration of Viana in improving the living conditions of the citizens.<\/p>\n

In turn, the deputy administrator for the Political and Social area, Paulo Maka Zadi, considered that the donation will add to the amounts they already have (without advancing numbers), to support those in need.<\/p>\n

He referred that the goods will reinforce the administration’s service capacity, aiming to respond to the various situations that have not yet received support.<\/p>\n

“Initially, planning will be carried out so that later on, the products will be destined for the areas where the approximately 200 families affected by the rain are concentrated”, he stressed.<\/p>\n

He appealed to the local business community, within the framework of its social responsibility, to extend its supportive hand to help vulnerable families.<\/p>\n
