Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The MPLA secretary for information and propaganda in Cuando Cubango, Joa\u0303o Yambo Miguel, defended this Sunday that the JMPLA should continue to assume a multiple challenge, in strengthening its bases, through permanent actions to mobilize new militants.<\/b><\/p>\n

The politician, who was speaking at the 7th meeting of the provincial committee of the JMPLA, representing the 1st secretary of the MPLA, Jose\u0301 Martins, underlined that, with the party’s victory in the general elections of 24 August 2022, this organization must develop permanent actions of mobilization, awareness and education of citizens, so that they can join the ranks of this organization.<\/p>\n

He appealed to JMPLA to continue to exercise its usual role, to work for the defense and preservation of peace, reconciliation, national reconstruction and sustainable development in Angola.<\/p>\n

The politician said that JMPLA should work to promote young Angolans in the technical-professional, cultural, recreational, sports, productive, scientific and technological fields and youth entrepreneurship, maintaining discipline, good education and mutual respect between militants and not only.<\/p>\n

On the occasion, he also asked the youth to use social networks responsibly, to allow them to contribute to the edification of the country, the province and the moralization of society and not use them as a weapon to sow evil, create intrigues and incite violence among Angolans.<\/p>\n

In turn, the 1st secretary of the JMPLA in Cuando Cubango, Severino Sawanda, underlined that the youth organization of the MPLA has a strong and great mission to contribute to the promotion of young people in various areas, in the participation in the defense and preservation of peace and greater protection of the environment.<\/p>\n

Taking stock of 2022, he said that today the JMPLA in Cuando Cubango has its structures implemented in all municipalities and communes, villages and neighborhoods that make up that province, with more than 100 thousand militants.<\/p>\n
