Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Delegations from Angola and Japan analyzed, this Thursday, in Luanda, issues linked to the deepening of cooperation in the most varied domains, with particular focus on the liberalization agreement, protection and promotion of investments.<\/b><\/p>\n

The Angolan delegation was guided by the Secretary of State for International Cooperation and Angolan Communities, Domingos Custo\u0301dio Vieira Lopes, while the Japanese delegation was guided by the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs of Japan, Yamada Kenji.<\/p>\n

According to a press release from the Angolan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the parties reviewed matters of common interest, with emphasis on the reciprocity of visits by senior entities.<\/p>\n

The two countries intend to increase cooperation in the political, economic and cultural domains, especially in the process of industrialization and overcoming challenges in the areas of agriculture and agribusiness development, oil and mining.<\/p>\n

In this regard, mention was made of possible advances towards the signing of visa exemption agreements in official passports between the two countries.<\/p>\n

Japan’s cooperation with Angola began in 1988 as emergency aid through UNICEF. Since then, it has supported the process of national reconciliation, assistance to farmers, demining, among others.<\/p>\n
