{"id":2735,"date":"2022-02-08T14:18:17","date_gmt":"2022-02-08T14:18:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/angola\/all-news\/kuimbila-ni-kukina-takes-to-the-joao-adilson-hall"},"modified":"2022-02-08T16:40:57","modified_gmt":"2022-02-08T16:40:57","slug":"kuimbila-ni-kukina-takes-to-the-joao-adilson-hall","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/angola\/all-news\/kuimbila-ni-kukina-takes-to-the-joao-adilson-hall","title":{"rendered":"Kuimbila Ni Kukina takes to the Jo\u00e3o Adilson Hall"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Angola. <\/strong><\/span><b>The first concert of the year of the Kuimbila Ni Kukina Semba project, with Dom Caetano, Augusto Chacaya and Lulas da Paix\u00e3o, brought to life on Sunday afternoon the Jo\u00e3o Adilson Hall, on Rua da Dona Zita, in Mar\u00e7al.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Mar\u00e7al neighborhood was celebrating on Sunday, with the trio Dom Caetano, Augusto Chacaya and Lulas da Paix\u00e3o toasting Angolan music enthusiasts and not only those who went to the Jo\u00e3o Adilson Hall.<\/p>\n<p>The artists were supported by Banda Yetu, with Benjamim (bass), Z\u00e9 Lu\u00eds (viola-rhythm), Claudio Clic-Clac (solo), Chico Santos (drums and vocals), Jo\u00e3o Daloba (drums), Nininho (keyboards) and Lolito (lead voice). The formation also presented well-known themes of national music.<\/p>\n<p>Dom Caetano was the first artist to perform and as a good communicator he made an aftermath of the meeting that addressed a possible elevation of Semba as National Intangible Heritage. On behalf of his colleagues, he defended that it is urgent to materialize this intention. The singer resorted to the themes that mark his performances and shared the stage with Lula da Paix\u00e3o in &#8220;Ueji ki Usokama&#8221;, composer of the theme, he was not intimidated by the challenge of journalist Isa\u00edas Afonso, even without rehearsing he sang &#8220;Maka&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Lulas Paix\u00e3o closed the poster and did not leave out &#8220;Tio&#8221;, &#8220;Kim&#8221;, &#8220;Nguami Maka&#8221; and other regulars in his repertoire. In his own way, Augusto Chacaya, unlike his colleagues, opened with &#8220;Nzala&#8221; by Elias dya Kimuezo and then a unpublished theme as a novelty for the public to appreciate, then he returned with the hits that consecrated him like &#8220;Sandra&#8221; and &#8220;Samba Samba&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>During the activity, the artists praised the achievements of Galiano Neto, composer and drummer who died on Thursday in Lisbon.
