Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Passenger sea travel between Soyo, Luanda and Cabinda and vice versa will begin next March, according to Transport Minister Ricardo Viegas D’Abreu.<\/b><\/p>\n

At this time, four catamarans and one Ferrrbolt are available, as part of an ongoing program, to respond to the demand and concerns of the population regarding the availability of transport.<\/p>\n

The inhabitants of Cabinda depend only on air travel to reach the rest of the Angolan territory, a problem that could be eliminated this year, with the entry into operation of catamarans along the entire coast of the country.<\/p>\n

The maritime transport of passengers for these routes will be provided by S\u00e9cil Mar\u00edtima. For the start of operations, technicians have already been recruited for the vessels and also for the passenger terminals.<\/p>\n
