Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Banco de Poupan\u00e7a e Cr\u00e9dito (BPC) opened, on Monday, in Mo\u00e7\u00e2medes, Namibe province, an exclusive branch for pensioner customers, as part of a project called \u201cO Meu Balc\u00e3o\u201d.<\/b><\/p>\n

The inaugural ribbon was cut by the Governor of Namibe, Archer Mangueira, noting that the opening of this space marks the beginning of a differentiated service to pensioners, congratulating BPC for the initiative.<\/p>\n

He said that the beneficiaries are, by the way, people who throughout a lifetime dedicated all their time to public service, appealing to BPC officials and their technicians to serve pensioners with professionalism and efficiency.<\/p>\n

He stressed that the counter will allow for a more humane service and reduce the queues that were seen at banks for a long time on pension processing days, in addition to the embarrassment it caused to the people themselves, a treatment that did not give a good image.<\/p>\n

BPC’s administrator, Lu\u00eds Duarte, recognized that the bank has experienced difficult times in the last three years, due to the cyber attack it suffered in 2021, but despite the difficulties, it outlined some lines of action that were limited to improving customer service, with the opening of some branches exclusively for pensioners.<\/p>\n

He said that with this branch, BPC now has its 12th branch across the country, exclusively for pensioners.<\/p>\n

The representative of the Provincial Institute of Social Security in Namibe, Arieth Pinheiro, said that the INSS welcomes the BPC initiative, which will contribute to improving relations between the Bank and the INSS, in particular pensioners in terms of your contribution.<\/p>\n
