Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Users of buses on the Ramiros\/Benfica urban districts route, in the municipalities of Belas and Talatona (Vice-versa), in Luanda, call for an increase in these means of transport at peak hours, due to the fact that the current one does not correspond to the demand.<\/b><\/p>\n

The current route is made up of five non-articulated buses, two belonging to the public operator TCUL and the same number to the private company ANGO Real and one to Ludvivi\u0301a Express.<\/p>\n

All buses have capacity for 53 passengers and charge 100 Kwanzas per trip.<\/p>\n

In declarations, the citizens defend the increase of the number of buses in the referred route to facilitate the mobility of people and goods.<\/p>\n

The civil servant and resident of the district of Ramiros, Anto\u0301nio Bernardo, said that he has encountered immense difficulties, in the period of the morning, to move in the place of service ( center of the city ) and in the period of the afternoon, of return for house, because the number of buses available does not match demand.<\/p>\n

There is an urgent need, he pointed out, to increase the number of vehicles because he prefers collective buses, because of the tariff applied by the operators of 100 kwanzas, contrary to the Kz 150 of taxis.<\/p>\n

The young student Francisco Moise\u0301s indicated that, due to the insufficient number of buses, many taxi drivers, both in the morning and in the afternoon, shorten the distances, which makes the trip more expensive.<\/p>\n

For his part, the head of the Ramiros, Avelino Miguel, understands that, in addition to increasing the number of buses, appropriate stops should be built and traffic should act against taxi drivers who shorten routes.<\/p>\n
