Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Informal Economy Reconversion Program (PREI), launched on Tuesday (08), in the Mutundo informal market, on the outskirts of the city of Lubango, plans to formalize, in the province of Hu\u00edla, about 10 thousand vendors, including street vendors, from stands and fairgrounds.<\/b><\/p>\n

According to the Secretary of State for the Economy, Dalva Ringote Allen, who presided over the launch of the initiative, among the various benefits, the recipients should receive training in the area of \u200b\u200bManagement.<\/p>\n

She clarified that, in addition to training, those covered are now enrolled in Social Security and have access to the Single Window, for example.
\nDalva Ringote Allen said that Mutundo is the largest market in the Center and South Region, with 12,000 street vendors, which is the reason for choosing the launch.<\/p>\n

In a first phase, she informed, the PREI will work in the Mutundo market, in the city of Lubango, for 30 days.<\/p>\n

The adhesion of salespeople to the Program, on the first day, was in itself a reason for great satisfaction for Dalva Ringote. “With this reception, our expectation of reaching 10 thousand sellers could be a reality”, he said. Executive\u201d, he explained.<\/p>\n

The Secretary of State assured that there are enough teams to meet the demand. The PREI, she said, is a Program that includes different sectors, namely the Ministry of Economy and Planning as coordinator, but the ministries of Finance also participate; Public Administration, Labor and Social Security; of Justice; of Transport; Youth and Sports and Education.<\/p>\n

For Lubango, in addition to mobile teams, there are also brigades made up of young people from the province of Hu\u00edla, available to collaborate in this process.<\/p>\n

The goal, according to Dalva Ringote, is to achieve effective visibility of economic agents, who operate informally, and to work so that they quickly transition to formality. The Program will also allow women and young entrepreneurs, who walk the streets every day looking for sustenance for their families, to create more stable businesses and later be able to benefit from bank credit.<\/p>\n

“Our President of the Republic, Jo\u00e3o Manuel Gon\u00e7alves Louren\u00e7o, guided us to be here because he understands that the role that our moms play in the market is fundamental. It is essential that they carry out their actions without any problem”, he informed. this Program was designed to allow moms to benefit from all the incentives that the Executive has prepared for sellers not only in the Mutundo market, but at the level of all municipalities in the province of Hu\u00edla. The Ministry of Justice, through the Identification Service, will be in the Mutundo market issuing Identity Cards to sellers who do not have them, free of charge.<\/p>\n

He added that the services of the Single Business Window, registration with the Social Security Institute and registration to obtain the tax taxpayer number through the AGT will also be available. The objective of the Program, he explained, is to see women and young entrepreneurs with vision to expand their businesses and broaden their actions.<\/p>\n

For Hu\u00edla, specifically, the training process will also take place in national languages, especially in Nhaneca humbi and Umbundo, for better reach. On behalf of the vendors, Cristina Cassanga expressed her satisfaction with the Program, which aims, above all, to enhance the activity of street vendors and benches in the most diverse markets in the province.<\/p>\n
