Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>A technical support group for the Interministerial Commission for the implementation of the Integrated Intervention Plan in Municipalities (PIIM) is X-raying the execution of works in Hui\u0301la province.<\/b><\/p>\n

The commission coordinated by the Secretary of State for Land Transport, Jorge Bengue, began a visit on Wednesday to the municipality of Chibia, more specifically to the works of the new municipal administration, as well as the already completed second cycle school “Kundi Paihama” and the high school .<\/p>\n

Visits to schools, hospitals, power grids, roads and other social equipment in the municipalities of Cuvango, Jamba, Matala, Lubango and Humpata are scheduled for this Thursday and Friday.<\/p>\n

Speaking after visiting the infrastructures built and running in Chibia, Jorge Bengue said he left with a positive impression and considered that in terms of implementing the PIIM, Chibia is one of the municipalities with the best results in the country.<\/p>\n

He asked the team engaged in the implementation of the PIIM, contractors, inspection, provincial government and municipal administrations to monitor the Chibia experience, so that they are at their level, as they have not received any complaints about delays in works or payments.<\/p>\n

Reinforced infrastructures found complied with the schedule of physical and financial execution, for which the evaluation group congratulates the provincial government and the administration of Chibia.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe left satisfied, with no negative notes and we encourage the municipal administration to start working on the preparation of the second phase of the PIIM, listening to its citizens and prioritizing what the population elects as the main needs\u201d, he continued.<\/p>\n

He stressed that the students’ satisfaction was notorious in some of the schools visited and with various services and equipment available to this student community, visible gains that are improving the lives of the populations<\/p>\n

The municipality has 13 projects in the PIIM, 12 of which have been completed, linked to the sectors of electricity, water, health, education and communication routes, whose global value was three billion kwanzas.<\/p>\n
