Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The winning group of the 2023 Luanda Carnival, Unia\u0303o Recreativo do Kilamba, will receive a prize worth 15 million kwanzas, the Minister of Culture, Filipe Zau, announced Thursday in Luanda.<\/b><\/p>\n

Unlike the prize of five million Kwanzas, announced earlier, according to the minister, the Executive took the initiative to make an increase to give greater relevance to Carnival and culture as a whole.<\/p>\n

De acordo com o governante, que falava durante um encontro com o grupo vencedor do Carnaval de Luanda, a atribuic\u0327a\u0303o dos 15 milho\u0303es de kwanzas e\u0301 um acre\u0301scimo circunstancial e na\u0303o normativo.<\/p>\n

\u201cEste incremento na\u0303o tem caracter normativo, e\u0301 apenas uma iniciativa do Executivo que considerou que a valorizac\u0327a\u0303o dos grupos carnavalescos pudesse ser crescente\u201d, disse.<\/p>\n

Para o ministro Filipe Zau, o nu\u0301mero de participantes, vistos durante o desfile do carnaval, era muito grande, por isso deve ser compati\u0301vel ao valor atribui\u0301do, de maneiras a ser melhor rentabilizado por todos.<\/p>\n

Por seu turno, o comandante do grupo Unia\u0303o Recreativo do Kilamba, Poli Rocha, agradeceu ao Executivo por este acre\u0301scimo e por ter sentido na realidade , as dificuldades que os grupos enfrentam.<\/p>\n

Poli Rocha appeals to the executive not to stop here to extend the gesture, in order to also toast the future winning groups of the Carnival of Luanda.<\/p>\n

The Unia\u0303o Recreativo do Kilamba group, from the Rangel district, was the big winner of class A at the Luanda Carnival, 2023 edition.<\/p>\n

In second place was Unia\u0303o Jovens da Cacimba with 728 points, Unia\u0303o Kiela in third, with 720 points, Unia\u0303o Njinga Mbandi in fourth, with 719 points, while Unia\u0303o Povo da Quissama occupied fifth place, with 698 points.<\/p>\n
