Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Minister of Social Action, Family and Women’s Promotion, Ana Paula do Sacramento Neto, concluded, Friday, her work agenda at UN headquarters in New York, where she participated in the 67th Session of the Commission on the of the woman .<\/b><\/p>\n

In fulfillment of her agenda, the Angolan official participated in the Open Ministerial Debate of the Security Council, having delivered the declaration on behalf of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries, under the theme \u201cWomen, Peace and Security Towards the 25th Anniversary of<\/p>\n

Resolution 1325\u201d.<\/p>\n

Also, on behalf of the CPLP, he spoke at the general debate of the 67th Session on the Statute of Women, where he highlighted the commitment of the Angolan Government to innovation and technology that includes the insertion of girls and women, in the most varied projects underway in the country, with a view to developing new technologies<\/p>\n

Ana Paula do Sacramento Neto participated in several round tables and interactive panels, having chaired, on the sidelines of the Session, a working breakfast with her CPLP counterparts, with the aim of reviewing the state of cooperation between the Member States.<\/p>\n

On the last day of his stay in New York, he gave an interview to ONUNEWS- Official United Nations News Agency in Portuguese, during which he addressed the actions of the Angolan Executive aimed at achieving gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls. through innovation and change<\/p>\n
