Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The former municipal administrators of Viana and Qui\u00e7ama, dismissed last Wednesday by the governor of Luanda, may respond to criminal proceedings in the near future, a source from the Provincial Government told Jornal de Angola.<\/b><\/p>\n

According to the source of this newspaper, the former administrator of Viana, Manuel Marques de Almeida Pimentel, who had been appointed, in March 2021, and that of Quissama, Ant\u00f3nio Manuel Fiel “Didi”, who had held the position since June 2019. , are suspected of involvement in acts that jeopardize the good management of public affairs.<\/p>\n

“And, as a result, these former public managers can probably be held criminally responsible”, said the source of the GPL.<\/p>\n

In substitution of Manuel Pimentel, in Viana, the governor Ana Paula de Carvalho appointed Dem\u00e9trio Ant\u00f3nio Br\u00e1s de Sep\u00falveda, to exercise, in an ordinary service commission, the position of municipal administrator.<\/p>\n

To replace Ant\u00f3nio Fiel “Didi”, Ana Paula de Carvalho appointed Maria Marta Baltazar Mendes Amaro, to exercise the position of municipal administrator of Qui\u00e7ama. The governor also dismissed the head of the Monitoring and Control Department of the Studies Office , Planning and Statistics of the LPG, Francisco Jos\u00e9 Muhongo Mateus, who had been appointed, by order, on 31 January 2020, a position now held by Joaquim Ant\u00f3nio Camilo.<\/p>\n
